I. Information on the Processing of Your Data in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
1. Controller and Data Protection Officer

2. Data processed for the provision of the website and the creation of log files
a. What data is processed for what purpose?
Each time content on the website is accessed, data that may allow identification is temporarily stored. The following data is collected in this process:

  • Date and time of access

  • IP address

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Website from which the website was accessed

  • Websites accessed through the website

  • Page visited on our website

  • Notification of whether the access was successful

  • Transferred data volume

  • Information about the browser type and version used

  • Operating system

The temporary storage of data is necessary for the duration of a website visit to enable the delivery of the website. Further storage in log files occurs to ensure the functionality of the website and the security of our information technology systems. These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in data processing.
b. On what legal basis are these data processed?
The data are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
c. How long are the data stored?
The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose of their collection. In the case of the provision of the website, this occurs when the respective session has ended. The log files are kept directly and exclusively accessible to administrators. After this, they are only indirectly accessible through the reconstruction of backup tapes and are finally deleted after a maximum of four weeks.
3. Rights of the data subject
a. Right of access
You can request information about your personal data that we process according to Article 15 GDPR.
b. Right to object
You have the right to object on special grounds (see Section II below).
c. Right to rectification
If the information concerning you is not (or no longer) correct, you can request its rectification according to Article 16 GDPR. If your data are incomplete, you can request that they be completed.
d. Right to erasure
You can request the deletion of your personal data according to Article 17 GDPR.
e. Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data according to Article 18 GDPR.
f. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority of your choice according to Article 77(1) GDPR. g. Right to data portability
If the conditions of Article 20(1) GDPR are met, you have the right to have data that we process on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to yourself or to third parties. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are essential for the operation of the website. Therefore, they are not based on consent according to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR or a contract according to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR but are justified according to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Thus, the conditions of Article 20(1) GDPR are not fulfilled in this respect.
 
II. Right to Object according to Article 21(1) GDPRYou have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The controller will then no longer process the personal data unless they can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are essential for the operation of the website.
